6.1 OTDR Test Function
The OTDR test function operates at wavelengths of 1310nm and 1550nm with dynamic ranges of 26dB and 24dB respectively. This model is not designed for testing live fiber.

Figure 6.1: OTDR Quick Setup and Parameters Set Modes
- Tryb szybkiej konfiguracji: Allows for rapid configuration of wavelength, distance range, pulse width, and measurement duration.
- Parameters Set Mode: Provides advanced control for experienced users to define wavelength, distance range, pulse width, measurement mode, IOR, non-reflection threshold, and end threshold for precise curve results.
6.1.1 Event Map
The Event Map visualizes fiber optic link inspections, presenting information such as link length, connector type, fusion points, or break points in a graphical format. The Event Blind Zone is less than 1.6m, and the Attenuation Blind Zone is less than 8m.

Figure 6.2: OTDR Event Map and Threshold Setting
- Początkowe wydarzenie: Represents the starting point of the fiber link.
- Wydarzenie refleksji: Indicates a connector or other reflective element.
- Zdarzenie bez refleksji: Shows a fusion splice or optical fiber bending, appearing as a drop in optical power.
- Zakończ wydarzenie: Marks the terminal of the fiber. A normal end event shows a reflection peak.
6.1.2 Data Storage and Report Generation
Test results, including curves, event lists, parameters, and fiber link information, can be saved and viewed. The device supports generating test reports in SOR standard file format (PDF/EXCEL).

Figure 6.3: OTDR Event List and Trace Graph
6.1.3 Multi-track Analysis
The device supports displaying up to four curves simultaneously for comprehensive analysis, allowing for more accurate evaluation of fiber characteristics.

Figure 6.4: Multi-track Analysis
6.1.4 File Kierownictwo
Manage saved test reports, including curve trajectories, event lists, parameters, and fiber chains. Test reports are available in EXCEL and PDF formats. You can enable or disable automatic file naming, select the file format (OTDR or SOR), and define the file name type. Up to 4 curve files can be simultaneously selected for viewing.

6.2 Miernik mocy optycznej (OPM)
Connect the fiber to the OPM port to measure optical power linearly or non-linearly. This function is used for direct measurement of optical power and relative measurement of fiber link loss. Calibrated wavelengths include 850/1300/1310/1490/1550/1625nm, with a measurement range of -70 to +6dBm.

Figure 6.6: Optical Power Meter Operation
6.3 Wizualny lokalizator uszkodzeń (VFL)
The VFL function is used to determine fiber continuity and locate faults. It operates at a 650nm wavelength with a maximum test range of 8 KM. Exercise caution and avoid direct eye exposure to the red laser light.

Figure 6.7: Visual Fault Locator Operation
6.4 Źródło światła (LS)
Connect to the OTDR/LS port to use the device as a stable light source for engineering and maintenance of optical fiber communication and CATV systems. Available modulation modes include CW/270 Hz/330 Hz/1 kHz/2 kHz.

Figure 6.8: Light Source Operation
6.5 Test strat optycznych (OLT)
The OLT function measures the insertion loss of optical passive devices. Connect the OTDR/LS port and OPM port of the tester with short fiber optic patch cables. Initiate a 'Start Test' and, after power stabilization, click 'Set Parameter'. Then, connect the measured optical device to the OTDR/LS and OPM ports. The 'Relative Power' on the interface indicates the insertion loss value. Calibrate before each test for accurate results.

Figure 6.9: Optical Loss Test Operation
6.6 RJ45 Cable TDR Test
This function tests the status of RJ45 cable pairs (open or short circuit) and measures their length up to 600 meters. One end of the network cable should be connected to the tester, and the other end should not be connected to other devices.

Figure 6.10: RJ45 Cable TDR Test
6.7 Tester kabli UTP
Test the connection status of UTP cables and display results on the screen. This function supports detecting near-end, mid-end, and far-end fault points of the RJ45 cable plug.

Figure 6.11: UTP Cable Tester
6.8 Cable Length Test
Measure the breakpoint position of open-circuit BNC, RJ45 network, and RJ11 cables. The maximum test length is 3000 meters. Short-circuit status will not display cable length. One end of the cable should be connected to the OTDR tester, and the other end should not be connected to other devices.

6.9 Network Test Tools
The device includes several network diagnostic tools:

Figure 6.13: IP Scan and FTP Server
- Skanowanie IP: Quickly finds the IP addresses of connected IP cameras or other network devices, supporting MAC address and manufacturer identification.
- Test pingowania: A conventional network debugging tool used to verify connectivity and correct IP addresses of connected devices. Connect a network cable to the LAN port and enable the PING tool.
- PPPOE: Used to detect whether broadband PPPOE dialing is normal.
- LLDP: Detects capabilities, management IP addresses, device info, port info, and other information of switches. This function requires the switch to support the LLDP protocol.
- Flashowanie portu: Connect a network cable to the tester's "LAN" port. If the OTDR tester and PoE switch are connected, the LAN port of the PoE switch will flash, aiding in quickly locating the connected Ethernet cable.
- FTP: For copying and editing files from the SD card without using an SD card reader. Start the FTP service and enter the tester's FTP address in the computer's address bar.
