• They offer high resistance against burglary, certified with the highest security level (SKG***) by the SKG-IKOB institute.
• The cylinders are protected against manipulation, including drilling, pulling, and magnetic attacks.
• For optimal anti-burglary resistance, select the correct cylinder length. Police and security institutes recommend a maximum cylinder protrusion of 3 mm from the door fitting.
• The blueCompact application functions only on non-manipulated smartphones for security reasons.
• The data recording concept ensures no personal or security-relevant data is stored in the cloud or the application itself. Data is stored on the Masterkey, protected by 128-bit AES encryption.

4. Konfiguracja i instalacja

The Winkhaus blueCompact cylinder is designed for straightforward installation, similar to a mechanical locking cylinder, requiring no wiring.

4.1. Wymagania wstępne

• A Winkhaus blueCompact activation kit is required for operation. This kit includes the Masterkey and four user keys.
• A compatible smartphone (iOS or Android) with the free blueCompact Winkhaus application installed.

4.2. Kroki instalacji

1. Usuń istniejący cylinder: Locate and remove the fixing screw on the side of your door that secures the current locking cylinder. Carefully slide out the old cylinder.
2. Insert blueCompact Cylinder: Insert the Winkhaus blueCompact electronic cylinder into the door's lock mechanism. Ensure it is correctly aligned.
3. Bezpieczny cylinder: Re-insert and tighten the provided M5 x 85 mm fixing screw to secure the blueCompact cylinder in place.
4. Verify Length: Confirm that the cylinder does not protrude more than 3 mm from the door fitting on either side for optimal security. Refer to the dimension table for correct sizing.

5. Instrukcja obsługi

5.1. Blokowanie i odblokowywanie

The Winkhaus blueCompact cylinder is locked and unlocked conventionally using a blueCompact key. Insert the key and turn it to engage or disengage the lock mechanism.

5.2. Access Rights Management (blueCompact App)

Access rights are managed using the Masterkey and the free blueCompact Winkhaus application (available for iOS and Android) on your smartphone.

• Udzielanie/odwoływanie dostępu: Use the Masterkey in conjunction with the app to grant or revoke access rights for individual user keys.
• Lost Key Management: In case of a lost key, use the Masterkey and the app to quickly remove its access rights, maintaining the security of your system.

5.3. Rejestrowanie zdarzeń

The cylinder's controller, equipped with a real-time clock, logs the last 2000 locking events, including date and time. This event journal can be accessed via the blueCompact app for security monitoring.

6. Konserwacja

6.1. Żywotność baterii i wymiana

The cylinder operates on a Lithium BR 1/2 AA battery. The battery life supports up to 120,000 locking cycles or up to 10 years in standby mode.

The system provides warnings regarding battery status. When the battery needs replacement, follow the instructions in the blueCompact app or the detailed installation guide.

6.2. Emergency Operation (Empty Battery)

If the battery is completely depleted and you have missed the low battery warnings, the cylinder can still be opened using the Masterkey or any active blueCompact Winkhaus keys that have their own internal battery.
