1. Install Extension Rod (Optional)

Loosen the tip guard lock nut and remove the tip guard. Reinstall the sealing ring correctly if it comes off. Attach the extension rod to the spray gun and secure it tightly. Connect the tip guard to the extension rod and secure it tightly.

2. Assemble Your Sprayer

Connect one end of the high-pressure hose to the spray gun and secure it with two wrenches. Connect the other end of the high-pressure hose to the liquid outlet on the sprayer and tighten it with a wrench.

3. Install Suction Tube & Drain Tube

Remove the black rubber cover from the fluid inlet. Clear the inlet port with a cleaning needle to loosen the inlet valve ball. Attach the return tube to the return fitting and secure it with the built-in fastener. Connect the suction tube to the fluid inlet fitting, and tighten with the built-in locking valve.

1. Flush Storage Fluid

Ensure the trigger lock is engaged. Remove the tip and guard. Separate the drain tube (smaller) from the suction tube (larger). Place the drain tube into a waste pail. Submerge the suction tube into a pail filled with flushing solvent or clean water. Turn the Prime/Spray valve to PRIME position. Turn the pressure control knob to the lowest setting. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON position. When the sprayer starts pumping, flushing solvent will be purged from the system. Allow fluid to flow out of the drain tube into the waste pail for 30 to 60 seconds. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position. Fill with lubricating oil to prevent premature packing wear. Do this daily or each time you spray.

2. Fill the Pump

Move the suction tube to the paint pail and submerge it inside. Ensure the Prime/Spray valve remains in the PRIME position. Turn the pressure control knob to the lowest setting. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON position. Increase the pressure knob until the motor starts. When paint comes out of the drain tube, turn the pressure control knob to the lowest setting. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position.

3. Fill Hose and Gun

Disengage the trigger lock. Pull and hold the gun trigger. Turn the Prime/Spray valve to SPRAY position. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON position. Increase pressure. Pull the gun trigger into the waste pail until only paint comes out of the gun. Turn the pressure control knob to the lowest setting. Release the trigger. Engage the trigger lock. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position. Screw the tip assembly onto the gun and tighten it. Reverse the tip.

4. Start to Spray

Disengage the trigger lock. Point the gun at scrap material and pull the trigger. Increase pressure as needed to create an even fan pattern. Hold the gun 12 inches (30.5 cm) from the surface and aim straight at the surface. Fanning the gun to direct spray at an angle causes an uneven finish.

1. Perform Pressure Relief Procedure

Engage the trigger lock. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position. Turn the pressure control knob to the lowest setting. Reverse the tip and disengage the gun trigger lock. Point the gun into a pail. Trigger the gun to relieve pressure. Engage the trigger lock. Turn the Prime/Spray valve to PRIME position.

2. Recover Leftover Paint

Remove the spray tip and tip guard from the gun. Lift the suction tube and drain tube from the paint pail, allowing paint to drain into the paint pail. Disengage the trigger lock. Pull and hold the gun trigger. Turn the Prime/Spray valve to SPRAY position. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON position. Continue to hold the gun trigger until you see paint diluted with flushing fluid starting to come out of the gun. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position. Engage the trigger lock. Turn the Prime/Spray valve to PRIME position.

3. Clean Hose and Gun

Move the gun to the waste pail. Pull the trigger again until flushing fluid is relatively clear. Turn the pressure control knob to the Prime/Clean setting. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position. Engage the trigger lock.

4. Clean Paint Out of the Tip

Engage the trigger lock. Put the tip and guard back on the gun. Disengage the trigger lock. Pull the trigger and spray until flushing fluid is relatively clear. Turn the pressure control knob to the lowest setting. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position. Release the trigger and engage the trigger lock. Turn the Prime/Spray valve to PRIME position.

5. Clean the Pump

Turn the Prime/Spray valve to PRIME position. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON position. Turn the pressure control knob to the Prime/Clean setting. Flush until approximately 1/3 of the flushing fluid is emptied and the fluid coming out is clear. Turn the pressure control knob to the lowest setting. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position. Clean all parts in clean water or flushing fluid using a brush.

Rozwiązywanie problemów

If the sprayer leaks, inspect all fittings and tighten them. If leaks persist, perform the pressure relief procedure and restart. Ensure the lubricating oil port is properly sealed to prevent leaks. If the intake hose is stiff or bent, ensure the sprayer unit is placed on the floor with the paint bucket next to it for optimal suction. Always ensure the correct spray tip is used for the paint type and surface.
