5. Konserwacja

5.1 Wymiana baterii

When the batteries in the clock or outdoor sensor are running low, a low battery symbol will appear on the screen and blink. Replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation and accurate readings. Refer to Section 3.1 for battery type and installation.

5.2 Czyszczenie

To clean the clock and sensor, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the display or casing.

6. Rozwiązywanie Problemów

6.1 No Atomic Signal / Incorrect Time

  • Lokalizacja: Ensure the clock is placed in an area with good reception, away from large metal objects, electronics, or concrete walls that may interfere with the WWVB signal.
  • Manual Correction: If the atomic signal is consistently weak or unavailable, you may need to manually set the time. Refer to the specific buttons on the back of the clock for manual time adjustment.
  • Reset: If the clock displays an incorrect date or time after an update, try moving it to a window and allowing it to re-synchronize. A hard reset (removing and reinserting batteries) may also resolve the issue.

6.2 Outdoor Temperature Not Displaying

  • Sprawdzenie baterii: Ensure the outdoor sensor has fresh batteries and they are installed correctly. A low battery symbol for the sensor will blink on the clock display.
  • Bliskość: Place the outdoor sensor closer to the main clock unit. The maximum range is 330 feet (100 meters) in open air, but obstacles can reduce this.
  • Ponowne parowanie: If the sensor still doesn't register, try removing batteries from both the clock and sensor, waiting a few minutes, then reinserting batteries into the sensor first, then the clock. Place the sensor next to the clock during this process to facilitate pairing.
  • Czynniki środowiskowe: Ensure the sensor is not exposed to direct sunlight or rain, which can affect its performance and accuracy.

6.3 General Display Issues

  • Niski poziom naładowania baterii: Check for the low battery indicator and replace batteries if necessary.
  • Kontrast: Some digital displays have adjustable contrast. Check if your model has such a feature on the back.
