4. Konfiguracja i instalacja

Follow these steps to set up your Edimax GP-103IT PoE++ Injector.

4.1 Connecting the Injector

1. Podłączenie zasilania: Connect the AC power cord to the "AC INPUT" port on the rear of the GP-103IT and then plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet. The "PWR" LED on the front panel should illuminate green.
2. Data Input Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your network switch, router, or other non-PoE network device to the "DATA IN" port on the front of the GP-103IT.
3. PoE Output Connection: Connect another Ethernet cable from the "PoE/DATA OUT" port on the front of the GP-103IT to your PoE-compatible Powered Device (PD). Ensure the PD is compliant with IEEE 802.3bt or earlier PoE standards (802.3af/at) that can be powered by this injector.

4.2 Opcje montażu

The GP-103IT offers flexible placement options:

• Umieszczenie na pulpicie: Simply place the injector on a flat, stable surface.
• Montaż naścienny: The injector can be mounted on a wall using screws (not included) through the mounting holes on the bottom of the unit. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the device.

5. Operating the Injector

Once properly connected, the Edimax GP-103IT operates automatically. It will detect the connected Powered Device (PD) and supply the necessary power according to the IEEE 802.3bt standard.

• Ten Dioda PWR should remain solid green, indicating the injector is powered on.
• Ten Dioda PoE should illuminate solid green when a compatible PD is connected and receiving power. If the PoE LED is off, check the connection to the PD and ensure the PD is PoE-compatible.
• Data transmission will occur transparently through the injector between your network and the PD.
