One of the tripod legs can be detached and combined with the center column to form a monopod. This provides flexibility for shooting in confined spaces or when quick mobility is required.

  1. Unscrew the hook at the bottom of the center column and remove the center axis.
  2. Re-insert the center column upside down and tighten it securely.
