4.2. Filter Media Installation

  1. Remove the selector valve from the top of the filter tank.
  2. Cover the standpipe opening inside the tank to prevent sand from entering.
  3. Carefully add the appropriate amount of filter media (sand, glass, or Aqualoon) into the tank. Refer to the filter media manufacturer's instructions for quantity.
  4. Ensure the standpipe is centered and clear of media.
  5. Clean any media from the tank's rim and reinstall the selector valve, ensuring a tight seal.

4.3. Połączenia pompy i węża

The filter system is designed with 38mm hose connections.

  1. Connect the pump to the filter tank using the provided fittings. Ensure all connections are sealed with Teflon tape or appropriate sealant to prevent leaks.
  2. Connect the hose from the pool's skimmer or main drain to the WLOT port of the pump.
  3. Connect a hose from the pump's WYLOT do POMPA port on the 5-way selector valve.

4.4. Połączenie elektryczne

Once all plumbing connections are secure and the filter tank is filled with water, connect the pump's power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power supply matches the pump's voltagi wymagania.

5. Instrukcja obsługi

The 5-way selector valve on top of the filter tank controls the various functions of the system. Aby zapobiec uszkodzeniom, przed zmianą położenia zaworu należy zawsze wyłączyć pompę.

  • FILTR: This is the standard operating mode for daily pool water filtration. Water passes through the filter media, removing impurities, and then returns to the pool.
  • PŁUKANIE WSTECZNE: Used to clean the filter media. Water flows in reverse through the filter, dislodging trapped debris, and is then directed out through the waste port. Perform backwash when the pressure gauge reads 0.2-0.3 bar (3-5 psi) above its clean operating pressure.
  • WYPŁUKAĆ: Used after backwashing to flush out any remaining dirty water from the filter and settle the filter media. Water flows through the filter and out the waste port.
  • ODPAD/ODPROWADZANIE: This setting bypasses the filter and sends water directly from the pool out through the waste port. Useful for draining the pool or vacuuming heavy debris directly to waste.
  • RECYRKULUJ: Water is circulated through the system and back to the pool without passing through the filter media. Useful for mixing chemicals without filtering.
  • ZAMKNIĘTE: This position shuts off all flow to and from the filter. Use this setting only when the pump is off and for maintenance tasks that require isolating the filter.

5.1. Starting Filtration

  1. Upewnij się, że basen jest napełniony do odpowiedniego poziomu.
  2. Set the selector valve to FILTR.
  3. Open all necessary valves on the pool plumbing (skimmer, main drain, return).
  4. Prime the pump if necessary (refer to pump manual).
  5. Turn on the pump. Observe the pressure gauge for normal operating pressure.

6. Konserwacja

Regular maintenance is crucial for the efficient operation and longevity of your Gre FS320 sand filter.

6.1. Backwashing the Filter

Backwash the filter when the pressure gauge indicates a rise of 0.2-0.3 bar (3-5 psi) above its clean starting pressure, or when water flow to the pool decreases significantly.

  1. Wyłącz pompę.
  2. Set the selector valve to PŁUKANIE WSTECZNE.
  3. Turn on the pump. Observe the water flowing out of the waste port. Continue backwashing until the water runs clear (typically 2-3 minutes).
  4. Wyłącz pompę.
  5. Set the selector valve to WYPŁUKAĆ.
  6. Turn on the pump for 30-60 seconds to flush the system.
  7. Wyłącz pompę.
  8. Set the selector valve back to FILTR.
  9. Włącz pompę, aby wznowić normalną filtrację.

6.2. Cleaning the Prefilter Basket

The pump's prefilter basket should be checked and cleaned regularly to prevent clogging and maintain pump efficiency.

  1. Wyłącz pompę i odłącz zasilanie.
  2. Zamknij wszystkie niezbędne zawory, aby zapobiec wypływaniu wody z basenu.
  3. Unscrew the prefilter lid.
  4. Remove the basket and empty any debris. Rinse the basket thoroughly with water.
  5. Sprawdź, czy pierścień uszczelniający na pokrywie nie jest uszkodzony i czy jest czysty. W razie potrzeby nasmaruj.
  6. Załóż koszyk z powrotem i szczelnie zamknij pokrywę.
  7. Otwórz ponownie zawory i przywróć zasilanie pompy.

6.3. Wymiana wkładu filtracyjnego

Sand filter media typically needs to be replaced every 3-5 years, depending on usage and water quality. Glass media and Aqualoon may have longer lifespans. Refer to the media manufacturer's recommendations.
