  3. Scoring the Tile:
    • Position the scoring wheel at the edge of the tile furthest from you, directly over the marked line.
    • Apply firm, consistent downward pressure on the handle.
    • Push the scoring carriage smoothly and steadily across the tile towards you in a single, continuous motion. A distinct scoring sound should be heard.
    • Avoid multiple passes, as this can weaken the score line and result in an uneven break.

  4. Breaking the Tile:
    • After scoring, retract the scoring carriage to the end of the tile closest to you.
    • Position the mobile breaker directly over the scored line, ensuring it is centered.
    • Apply quick, firm downward pressure on the handle to snap the tile along the scored line.
    • The tile should break cleanly. If it does not, review the scoring technique for consistent pressure.
