1. Wprowadzenie

The Diamondback Simulated Car Anti-Theft Alarm System is designed to deter potential car thieves by mimicking the presence of an active alarm system and GPS tracking device. This device features a bright, slow-blinking LED light and includes two window warning stickers. It operates independently of your vehicle's electrical system, powered by two AAA batteries (not included), offering a simple and effective visual deterrent.

3. Konfiguracja

1. Montaż baterii:

   Open the battery compartment on the battery pack. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely. (Batteries are not included.)

2. Placement of LED and Battery Pack:

   The LED is connected to the battery pack by a 12-inch wire, allowing flexible placement. Position the battery pack discreetly within your vehicle (e.g., glove box, center console, ash tray, or other cubby). Dangle the LED so it is clearly visible from outside the vehicle, typically on the dashboard or near a window, to maximize its deterrent effect.
3. Applying Window Warning Stickers:

   For optimal adhesion and visibility, follow these steps:

   • Ensure the interior surface of the window where the sticker will be applied is clean and free of dust or grease.
   • Lightly spray a liberal amount of water or water-based glass cleaner onto the clean window surface.
   • Carefully peel the protective film from the face of the warning sticker.
   • Apply the sticky side of the sticker to the wet window surface.
   • Smooth out the sticker using a soft cloth or squeegee, working from the center outwards, to remove any water or air bubbles trapped underneath.

4. Instrukcja obsługi

To activate the simulated alarm, locate the On/Off switch on the battery pack. Slide the switch to the "On" position. The LED will begin to flash slowly (approximately once per second for single-color models). To deactivate, slide the switch to the "Off" position.

The LED consumes very little power. If left continuously on, the batteries can power the LED for several weeks. To extend battery life and maintain a credible deterrent over many months, it is recommended to turn the device off when not needed (e.g., when driving or when the vehicle is parked in a secure location).

5. Konserwacja

The primary maintenance for this device involves replacing the AAA batteries when the LED light dims or stops flashing. Refer to Section 3.1 for battery installation instructions.

Keep the LED and battery pack clean and dry. Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct moisture.
