4. Konfiguracja

4.1 Fueling the Alcohol Lamp

Carefully fill the alcohol burner with 95% alcohol. Do not overfill; the liquid level should be less than two-thirds of the burner's capacity. Ensure the wick is properly inserted into the burner and extends approximately 1/16 inch above the metal cap for optimal flame size.

4.2 Connecting the LED

The multicolor LED can be connected to the generator terminals located on the base of the engine. Gently spread the LED wires apart and bend the ends slightly to fit securely into the small holes on the outside of the generator. This connection allows the LED to illuminate when the engine generates electricity.

4.3 Positioning the Engine

Place the Stirling engine on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the engine for safe operation and to prevent accidental contact with hot parts.

1. Light the wick of the alcohol burner.
2. Carefully place the lit alcohol burner directly under the round-ended glass heating cylinder of the engine.
3. Allow the heating cylinder to warm up for approximately 60-120 seconds. This is crucial for establishing the necessary temperature difference.
4. After the heating period, gently push the flywheel to initiate its rotation. The engine should then begin to run independently.

5.2 Electricity Generation

As the engine operates, the integrated generator will produce electricity. If the multicolor LED is correctly connected, it will illuminate and change colors, visually demonstrating the conversion of thermal energy into electrical energy.
