3. Instrukcja obsługi

Follow these simple steps for accurate water testing:

3.1. Step 1: Dip the Strip

Dip an AquaChek Yellow strip into your pool or spa water for one second, then remove it immediately. Ensure all four pads on the strip are fully submerged.

3.2. Step 2: Wait and Compare

After removing the strip, wait 15 seconds. Do not shake excess water from the strip. Immediately compare the colors on the strip to the color chart provided on the back of the AquaChek bottle. Match each pad to the closest color on the chart to determine your water's chemical levels.

3.3. Understanding the Results Table

The color chart on the bottle provides ranges for each parameter. Refer to the table below for a detailed breakdown of the ideal ranges and what different readings indicate.

4. Konserwacja i najlepsze praktyki

To keep your pool or spa water at its best, test at each end at least twice a week, and test your spa before each use. It's also a good idea to record your results each time you test, so you can track changes and identify trends. Consistent testing helps prevent imbalances and ensures a healthy swimming environment.

For enhanced tracking and tailored chemical treatment plans, consider using the AquaChek Connect app. This application allows you to manually input your test results and receive recommendations directly on your phone.

5. Rozwiązywanie typowych problemów

If your test results indicate levels outside the recommended ranges, adjustments to your pool or spa chemicals may be necessary. For exampna:

  • Low Free Chlorine: Add chlorine shock or adjust your chlorinator settings.
  • High Free Chlorine: Reduce chlorine additions, allow sunlight to naturally dissipate chlorine, or consider a chlorine neutralizer.
  • Niskie pH: Add a pH increaser (e.g., soda ash).
  • Wysokie pH: Add a pH decreaser (e.g., muriatic acid or dry acid).
  • Low Total Alkalinity: Add an alkalinity increaser (e.g., sodium bicarbonate).
  • High Total Alkalinity: Add a pH decreaser, which will also lower alkalinity.
  • Low Stabilizer (Cyanuric Acid): Add cyanuric acid.
  • High Stabilizer (Cyanuric Acid): The only way to reduce high cyanuric acid is by partially draining and refilling your pool with fresh water.

For persistent or complex water chemistry issues, it is recommended to consult with a professional pool service technician or your local pool supply store for expert advice and specialized treatments.
