The safe is equipped with an anti-theft alarm. If three consecutive incorrect codes are entered, the alarm will activate, and the keypad will lock for a short period (e.g., 5 minutes). During this lockout period, no codes can be entered, and the alarm will sound. To silence the alarm, use the emergency override key to open the safe or wait for the lockout period to expire.
