Konfiguracja i instalacja

Follow these steps to install your GAF Master Flow PT6 Thermostat:

  1. Odłącz zasilanie: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the power vent or fan and turn off the power. Verify power is off using a voltage meter before proceeding.
  2. Wyjmij stary termostat (jeśli dotyczy):
    • Remove the cover of the existing thermostat box.
    • Carefully disconnect any pre-wired connections, such as a blue wire nut from the factory.
    • Disconnect the power wires (typically black and white) and move them to the side, ensuring they do not cross.
    • Disconnect the upper conduit from the box.
    • Loosen and remove the Romex clamp nut from the bottom of the box. Note: The Romex clamp does not come with the new unit; save the existing one or acquire a new one.
    • Remove the old thermostat box from its mounting location.
  3. Zamontuj nowy termostat: Mount the new GAF Master Flow PT6 thermostat unit in the same location where the old unit was installed. Secure it firmly.

    • Connect the white bare wires from the power supply and the thermostat together using a wire nut (e.g., yellow wire nut). Ensure a secure connection.
  9. Organizuj przewody: Gently push all connected wires back into the thermostat box, ensuring no wires are pinched or exposed.
